TANTOWEL self-tanning towelettes are a revolution In self tanning! Patented “wet wipe” technology makes the application process a breeze, with no mess. 

Tantowel application dries instantly and will not transfer to clothing or sheets. As a bonus, Tantowels have a pleasant citrus scent, and do not produce that terrible odor that a lot of self-tanners do. 

To achieve the best results: 

 

1. Be sure to use the right formula for your skin type. Tantowels can be “layered”. If a darker color is desired, two applications of the original shade, 12 hours apart, may be better for fair skin. The Plus formula is for olive complexions, or skin with a base tan.
2. Start with clean, exfoliated skin. No lotions or oils should be on the skin. Tantowel X-Foliator towelettes are great….nothing to wash off, and nothing to inhibit the tanning agent.
3. Prepare a wet washcloth to leave on the sink to use on your hands after the application.
4. Unfold the towel and apply as if washing yourself. A small towelette will cover both arms, your chest and face, OR both legs. Full body towels should cover the entire body. Be sure the towel is still moist as you change areas. You may want to fold it in half and refold as you go.
5. Apply to the larger areas or the places you want the most tan, first. Finish with the backs of the hands or the feet. It is important NOT to start with those areas while there is a lot of solution in the towel.
6. For even coverage, continue going over the area being “tanned” until the towel is completely dry. Going over a spot more than once will NOT make that place any darker.
7. Use the wet washcloth to clean the palms and fingers of your hands. This will keep the backs of your hands tan.
8. Finish by rubbing a small amount of body lotion into your heels only. This will help soften any lines you may have created! Do not apply body lotion to the rest of the body for 3-4 hours unless using One the Glow or Moisture Mist by Tantowel.

Because Tantowel is not a stain or dye, but works with your body’s own natural chemistry, individual results will vary. The tanning agent is DHA, which is a safe, natural product that reacts with the amino acids in your top layer of skin. YOU MAY REAPPLY ANOTHER TANTOWEL IN 6-12 HOURS TO DARKEN THE APPLICATION.
