About Tantowel

TanTowel was incorporated in 1998 as a result of Australian born Lori Braun’s dream to create the ultimate self-tanning product. With the ever-growing statistics of skin cancer, yet people’s desire to look tanned never waning, self-tanners became an obvious and wonderful choice for people to achieve this without having to be out in the harmful rays of the sun. However, Lori, and most people, found the self tanners available to be difficult to use and would often provide bad results. So, she set out to produce a product that would provide a healthy, natural looking glow that was simple to apply, did not streak, stain or turn you orange. Furthermore, individual packaging of a single use application would ensure each use to be fresh.

Lori’s research and development of the TanTowel brought her to the United States where she was able to achieve all the production standards and high quality in the product that she demanded. The concept of impregnating the towelette with self-tanning formulation was unique and Lori was able to patent this product and bring it to the market.

Since 1998 TanTowel has been sold to millions of satisfied customers throughout the world and as a patented product now produces private label for international cosmetic companies. In addition, due to customer demand and request, the line has been expanded to include complimentary products so that the best tan possible can be achieved and maintained for a healthy, natural looking tan year round!
